My Friends (international that is)

So due to IRC and chatting with Jeremy and everyone I have made some very good friends. This photo is of a very good friend, Kushal Das, from India. He rocks! I love this picture and I just had to put it up on here. I have friends from Sweden, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Russia, and prolly other countries that I can't think of right now.

I would love to have my hair like this, this is photoshopped, but alas Jeremy doesn't like it.

Earrings!!!

Myriam has been begging Jeremy to let her get her ears pierced for oh, about 6 months now, and everytime she asks he says no...well yesterday he said yes! So off we went to Claire's before daddy could change his mind. While we were there both, yes BOTH, Myriam and Jovie got their ears pierced. When Myriam had run over to our friend (we were eating lunch at Mongolian BBQ) screaming "DADDY SAID I CAN GET MY EARS PIERCED" after that she commenced on telling us that she wanted pink stones with gold. Being the mom, I was freaking out thinking they would cry for like 1 hour after it was all done. Well, man did my kids show me that they can be very brave. Jovie cried for like a minute in between each ear, but she stopped crying the instant the lady gave her a sucker. Myriam kept saying she would be brave from the beginning, because Jeremy did tell her it would hurt, and she was VERY good about it. She just whimpered a bit when they did her first ear, but was very good about it! SO THANKS GIRLS FOR PROVING MOMMY WRONG!!!

Alright in this tag I am supposed to say 10 random things about myself, I am not sure If I have 10 random things about myself but I am always up for a challenge so here they are.

#4 hmm...I don't have any biological grandparents alive, I have lost them all in the past year

#5 I HATE to fold laundry! I am very good at making sure that our laundry gets washed and put in the dryer, thats the easy part! After that the laundry goes straight into the laundry baskets in our bedroom, and that is were it stays until it is either worn or rewashed because it is to wrinkly!

#7 I was in the US Army Reserves for 3 years and some change before getting out for medical reasons (pregnancy)

So Many Firsts

It is unbelievable. I have experienced so many firsts in my life, especially with the church. But this is the first time in my life where I have ever experienced the death of a Prophet (when I remember and comprehend it). I am deeply saddened by the loss of this great man, Gordon B. Hinckley. Although I never got the opportunity to meet him, you couldn't help but learn to love this cute old man. I will miss him and hearing his wonderful talks during conferences. The one thing that brings me solace is to know that he is now with Marjorie and they are dancing and running around and enjoying being together once again. I LOVE YOU GORDON B. HINCKLEY! GOD BE WITH YOU UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.

5. What countries did you visit? none, although Jeremy did visit Paris...and We are planning on going to Belgium this summer

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory and why? hmm...dunno...maybe the 1st week in December when I realized that I can handle my kids for a week without wigging out
